    The two applications are ImageJ plugins which are useful for analyzing stacks of photomicrographs taken of cancer cells degrading fluorescently labeled extracellular matrix (ECM). Invadopodia-3 is compiled for use on a PC workstation, while Invadopodia Mac is compiled for use on a Macintosh computer. The short instructions include examples of how to prepare and process photos before using the plugin. The input to the plugin will be two stacks of photos all at the same size and magnification, one with the whole cell visualized using a stain such as fluorescent phalloidin or GFP and the other with matched images of degraded ECM. The output is the total area of degradation. From this output one can measure the average area of degradation per cell or per invadopodium spot.
