- You will need Matlab 6.5 or better, along with the Image processing toolbox and Curve fitting toolbox. The software you will need to perform the novel bleaching correction described in Hodgson et al., 2005 is provided here. PB3.m is the command line version of the program, PBC.m and PBC.fig (both are required) are GUI versions of the same program. Place these files into your m-file folder or any other place (But set up proper path for it in Matlab) and run from within Matlab. The input files need to be individual tiffs, so save them as such in Metamorph. The output files will be individual tiff files which you will have to recompile into image stack file from Metamorph (Use the Find Files” command and select, then “open as stack”).
